WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:

Spray Jean Paree Detangler conditioner on any matted or tangled hair, then gently pick through the hairpiece till all matting or tangles are out. This will also loosen dirt and hair spray. Fill sink with lukewarm to cool water and spray approximately 7 to 10 squirts of JEAN PAREE SHAMPOO into water. Place wig or hairpiece in water and gently swish back and forth for one to two minutes, then let hairpiece soak for 10 minutes. Rinse with clean cool water. Do not put wig under running water. DO NOT SHAKE, BRUSH, OR COMB WHILE WET. Allow excess water to drain off wig or hairpiece. Then gently blot with clean soft towel and lay flat on a towel to “air dry naturally”. A conditioner, such as “HAIR SO SOFT” Silicon K-Conditioner sprayed onto the hairpiece will help soften fiber and help keep it natural. Do not rinse out. Do not use heat or a blow dryer to dry. After the hairpiece is completely dry, it may then be styled. If you keep your own hair and scalp clean, your hairpiece should only need to be washed approximately every 4 to 5 weeks.

CONDITIONING:

Conditioning with thick consistency – dime size in water. Do not rinse conditioner out. We highly recommend that you use Jean Paree “HAIR SO SOFT” or “ACTIVE MAN” Silicon K-Conditioner. Mist lightly on first wearing, then lightly every 3 to 4 wearings. This is very helpful in maintaining the life of your wig or hairpiece. On the longer hairpieces, always spray on the inside of the hairpiece where it would rub against the shoulders and the nape of the neck. This will help prevent frizzing, tangling, and matting.

RECOMMENDATIONS AND HELPFUL HINTS:

Do not use fabric softner, Woolite, or other detergents. For longer styles with curl and body, a wire pick comb should be used, brushing may cause fly away or frizzy hair. Straight or short styles may be brushed, using a good brush. A light aerosol hairspray may be used. Gel or light styling products are also great for gelled or wet look. When recurling, use hot rollers.
